Espérance and Al Ahly prepare for ACT I of TotalEnergies CAF Champions League Final in Rades on Saturday night

Espérance Sportive de Tunis and Al Ahly SC – the record holding and defending champions of the  TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, will meet in ACT 1 of the two-legged Final on Saturday, 18 May in Tunis.

The first leg Final is scheduled at Stade Olympique de Rades at 20h00 Local Time (19h00 GMT) ahead of next weekend’s return fixture in Cairo on Saturday, 25 May.  

With defending Al Ahly looking to stretch their record to 12 titles, Espérance Sportive de Tunis are determined to bring to a halt what could be a five year wait to lifting an African title since their fourth TotalEnergies CAF Champions League triumph in 2019. 

With African football enjoying a significant rise, the Final which is set to be watched by millions of viewers across the world will be contested by two of the four African clubs set to compete at next year’s Mundial de Clubes FIFA 25™ (FIFA Club World Cup 2025™).
